Sweet Bay Tree

Slender conical form grows into a small pyramidal tree. Strongly fragrant foliage used as a seasoning. Takes well to clipping for formal hedge or topiary and is good in containers. Slow growing to 12' to 15' tall as a shrub, and can grow to 20' to 35' tall and 15 to 20' wide. In hot climates is does best in afternoon shade.
