Tam Juniper

The classic low juniper, planted by the millions in the United States. Grows to eighteen inches tall and really really wide. If there's enough water, sometimes Tams grow fifteen feet wide here. The plant has thick foliage, and tolerates bad soil. If you must trim or hedge a juniper, this is the one to try because it browns inside slightly less than other species.
