puts forth a fountain of long stalked blue-green leaves that will spread and
grow to 6 feet high. Held in fan-like formation, it's leaves are a fine, Mediterranean
compliment to the treelike bold clumps formed at the base. The huge birdlike
flowers have white heads with blue tongues. Slow-growing, 25 to 30 feet high
and 15 feet wide.
