Red Leaved Banana

This palm-like plant bursts forth with huge, wine-red tinged foliage in compact rosettes on tall stems. An excellent selection for creating a tropical effect in your garden. A fast-growing addition to your landscape, expect 10 to 12 feet long leaves atop a 12 to 15 foot trunk. Primarily used as a single accent.

Best in very sheltered locations such as courtyards, walled entry gardens, atriums and sheltered slots between buildings.
