A most impressive and undemanding foliage plant, Monstera produces huge, shiny, dark green leaves that are elegantly perforated in youth; older plants are deeply cleft. The plant grows shoots up to 16 feet long with numerous aerial shoots; it needs twining or epiphyte support.
Light, no sun; warm and humid all year. In summer, in partial shade. Keep evenly moist and feed every 2 weeks. Wipe the leaves now and then so that respiration is not restricted.
