This
vibrant variety grows into a tall evergreen tree or shrub. Its name suggests
the spiral arrangement of the leaves around its trunk, which is quite obvious
in older plants. Its many leaves can grow to over three feet long.
Keep light and sunny all year. Maintain even moisture from spring through to
the end of the summer, and feed weekly. In winter, feed monthly. Repot when
needed in garden soil with 1/3 sand.
