Schefflera
can be a shrub or a tree. Its evergreen, long-petioled
leaves are shaped like a hand. They have a polished look and change as they
mature. A houseplant and container plant for cool stairwells and conservatories.
Light to partial shade all year. Keep lightly moist; feed every two weeks from
early spring to the end of the summer. Pruning larger plants encourages branching.
