This
herbaceous
perennial
has only recently become available as a houseplant. It has strong rhizomes
and long, lance-shaped leaves. The flowers resemble the hairy paw of a kangaroo,
hence it's name.
Water generously through the summer, using nonalkaline water when possible.
Every 2 weeks apply a low concentrate of nonalkaline fertilizer, like azalea
food. Winter watering should be light.
