In
its native Mexico this agave forms a shrub or treelike plant. At its base, the
stem is thick, while at it's apex it bears a plume of long, narrow, gray-green,
downward arching leaves. A wonderful green plant for a light location, or for
outdoor decoration in summer.
Protect from overwatering, or exposure to our infrequent rains if kept outdoors
in summer. This plant tolerates the hard water of Las Vegas just fine.
