An extremely fashionable palm, adult plants are found all over the Las Vegas valley, especially on the strip. Its leaves can reach 24-35 inches in diameter even in young plants. They stand stiffly upright with serrated stems. When small, a fan palm is a beautiful foliage plant for your home; when larger, move into the conservatory or sun room.
Enjoys full sun. During growth, water freely, spray often, and feed every two weeks. Keep the plant rather dry in winter.
