The
leaves of this plant are olive green, but really serve only as botanical canvas
for the spattering of red, pink or white dots that almost completely cover their
dark, contrasting surface. The pale crimson, tublar flowers produced by this
16-20 inch high shrub are insignificant, lost as they are in the beauty of the
foliage.
Bright light helps the leaves keep their vibrant color all year, but make sure
to avoid strong sun. Keep well moistened with soft water; spray often.
