The
leaves of this splendid foliage plant vary in color and shape; wide or narrow,
whole, or even rolled up. The colors adopted by the leathery, shiny leaves range
from yellow through green and orange to purple to almost black. The latex is
slightly poisonous and affects skin and mucous membranes.
Keep out of direct sunlight. During growth, keep evenly moist and spray often.
Feed lightly once a week. In winter reduce watering.
