Considered a popular houseplant for its tongue-shaped, slightly wavy, shiny green leaves, Hart's Tongue is often sought out for cool conservatories and other light, cool, glassed-in spaces.

Partial to complete shade and humid air, all year. Keep evenly moist, but not wet. Spray often with soft water. Feed lightly from later spring to midfall. Increase humidity by placing the plant in wet peat or over, not in, a bowl of water.
