Potentilla

This species does bloom, but is grown and appreciated for the nice thick mat of reliable bright green foliage that it produces. It is very hardy and will spread quickly if watered and fed well. Best in full sun, and easy to transplant to new places in the garden. Flowers are borne all summer long at the tips of new growth forming a dense canopy of yellow.
