Gomphrena - Globe Amaranth

Wow! What a bright purple! This charmer grows 9" to 2' tall and is covered with papery, clover-like round heads up to 1" wide. White, pink, lavender or purple flower heads maintain their shape and color when dried, and are attractive in dried arrangements. As with most annuals, plant Gomphrena in full sun and feed and water the beds regularly.
