Annuals
There
are a legion of plants that can be grown as hot weather annuals. Actual annuals,
such as Cosmos, Portulaca, Zinnia, and Marigold can be grown from seeds or bedding
plants. Some biennials and perennials, like Nicotiana, Petunias, and Phlox,
can be easily grown in hot weather flower beds. Some vines and creeping shrubs
such as Lantana and Verbena are also excellent choices for hot weather flower
beds.
