     1. Install sprinklers and test for adequate pressure and coverage.

     2. Mix soil building compost to a minimum of 2" and a maximum of 4" to 5" (50 sq. ft. per bale).

     3. Smooth to desired grade, undercut soil at curbs and sidewalks to 1-1/2" to 2" depth.

     1. Dampen soil and fertilize prior to installation of sod.

     2. Spread evenly a light application 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. with "Fertilome New Lawn Starter".

Sod:
     1. Install sod making sure the seams are tightly joined and staggered.

     2. Use caution as not to cover any sprinkler heads and work from un-sodded areas trying to keep traffic off newly installed sod.

     3. To cut sod, use a sharp carpet knife or serrated knife on soil side.

     4. Use a sod roller to roll sod to pack it down for good sod and soil contact.

     5. Another application of "Fertilome New Lawn Starter" is recommended
over sod.

REMEMBER YOUR SOD IS PERISHABLE. INSTALL PROMPTLY

Watering:
     1. Upon delivery, spray sod with water to prevent drying out before installation.

     2. DO NOT cover sod on pallets with plastic or any material that will prevent ventilation or may cause heat build-up.

     3. As soon as each area of sod is installed, water very well.

Water 5 times daily for 3 to 5 minutes. Between 5 am and 5 pm for 1 month. 4. Watering schedule will vary according to the season and your particular
situation.

**For slope lawns, use "Hydro Wet" to increase water retention.**

DO NOT ALLOW SOD TO DRY OUT!

Mowing:
     1. Mow in approximately 2 weeks after installation, removing 1/3 of the blade. Mow when dry.

2. After sod is established, fertilize every 30 to 45 days with "Fertilome Lawn Food plus Iron".
