Dig hole twice the width of container, but same depth.
2. Mix Plant World Mulch 50/50 with
soil taken from hole.

to soil and mulch. Mix Thoroughly.
3. Check drainage by filling hole with
water. All the water should drain away within an hour. If not, you
have hard pan and it will need to be penetrated. If the layer cannot
be broken, relocation will be necessary.
4. Pack mixture firmly around root ball.
5. Install stakes just outside the root
ball, making sure the stakes are deeper than soil mix. Remove original
stake.
6. Build a well around the tree and
water in with Fertilome Root Stimulator.
7. Place spring ties on the tree in
a figure 8 form, with 2 upper and 2 middle. Twist the ends for a snug
fit. Use a small nail on lodge pole to stop slippage, if necessary.

Water newly planted trees and shrubs regularly with a garden hose
for at least one month (2 months in summer). Automatic irrigation
systems may not be sufficient initially. Watering frequency will vary
according to season and exposure.
9. After 4 weeks fertilize with Fertilome
Start-n-Grow.
