Lavender
This triple threat has been a garden favorite for thousands of years. The beautiful purplish blue blooms come in white shades and a large range of different varieties now. The drought tolerance of the species makes it perfect for Las Vegas gardens. The wonderfully fragrant foliage can be enjoyed planted alongside a path where it's aroma can be released by pedestrians as well as cut and made into the famous dried sachets that have been gracing clothes drawers and closets since woven clothes were invented.
