and Topiary
Since
gardening began, gardeners have always enjoyed pruning plants into unusual and
decorative forms. These days, the standard poodle plants are joined in the nursery
beds by a menagerie of animals grown around wire frames. Venerable bonsai sometimes
take this close association with humans a step further and can ingratiate themselves
into becoming thought of as family menbers.
